MANAGEMENT AND DIRECTORS

Ken Thorsen, President, CEO, and Director.
Mr. Thorsen has been a director of Oroco since November of 2006 and has been managing field programs for Oroco since the completion of the Initial Public Offering in March of 2008. He was appointed President and CEO on November 1, 2008. Mr. Thorsen has over 40 years experience in the mining business including 15 years as a student and field geologist with Selection Trust, three years with Saskatchewan Mining and Development Corporation (Cameco), 21 years with Teck Corporation and six years as a consultant. During this period, Mr. Thorsen was directly involved at the field level with the discovery of three ore bodies and at the management level with the discovery and development of three additional ore bodies. Prior to becoming a consultant in 2002, Mr. Thorsen worked in senior exploration management at Teck, including a two year period managing its world wide exploration as President of Teck Exploration Ltd.

During his career Mr. Thorsen has been involved in exploration projects for base metals, precious metals, diamonds and uranium in the Americas, Australia and Asia.

Mr. Thorsen is a Professional Engineer registered in Ontario and British Columbia and is a long standing member of the Canadian Institute of Mining, the Mining Association of British Columbia and the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada.

Stephen M. Leahy, Executive Chairman.
Mr. Leahy has more than 26 years experience in venture capital, primarily in the resource sector. Mr. Leahy has previously acted as a senior officer or director of StarTech Energy Inc. (TSX), First Silver Reserve Inc. (TSX) and Wellco Energy Services Inc. (TSX). As founder of North American Tungsten Corporation Ltd., he was instrumental in facilitating the Company's acquisition and the bringing into production of its wholly-owned Cantung Mine and Mactung deposit. He is currently the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of North American Tungsten Corporation.

Robert Friesen, Director. 
Mr. Friesen has more than 40 years of experience in mining and mineral exploration including seventeen years with the Noranda Group, mainly as Chief Geologist of the Geco Mine in Ontario and the Samatosum Mine in B.C.  He also has five years of experience with Teck Exploration Ltd., a subsidiary of Teck Cominco Ltd., mainly as Project Geologist.  Mr. Friesen has extensive experience working with mining projects from pre-feasibility through to production.  Mr. Friesen is currently operating as a geological consultant to the mining industry and for the last two years has been managing Abacus Mining & Exploration Corp’s advanced Afton copper-gold exploration program.

Casey Forward, Director and Chief Financial Officer.
Mr. Forward brings over 25 years of accounting experience in North America and the United Kingdom, including extensive knowledge of the regulatory filing processes. Mr. Forward is a CGA who has served in numerous Canadian public companies in the capacities of Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Forward was the chief accountant of Kensington Resources until its amalgamation with Shore Gold in 2005 and is currently the CFO of Lateegra Gold Corp., a TSX-V listing company active in both Ecuador and Mexico.

David Rose, Corporate Secretary.
Mr. Rose has been a practicing lawyer since 1990. After working as an agent prosecutor for the Department of Justice and as Crown Counsel for the Attorney General of BC into the mid 1990’s, Mr. Rose began working in a mix of private legal practice and venture finance. He has been providing legal and management consulting services to resource companies and venture start-ups for the last ten years.

Geologists

Jose Antonio Montante Martinez, Ing.
Antonio has been a member of the Asociacion de Ingenieros Geologos de Mexico since 1990, and has 20 years of experience in the Mexican mining industry working in exploration, production, and feasibility studies for Luismin, Goldfields, Santa Fe Pacific Gold, Teck Corporation, and Goldcorp, as well as a number of jumior exploration companies.  

His professional experience includes all aspects of exploration and development from prospecting to feasibility on a wide diversity of mineral deposits in Mexico, with special emphasis in those that are related to gold  mineralizacion.  

For his work at Teck Corporation in 1997 at the VMS deposit of San Nicolás in Zacatecas Antonio received special mention Teck Corporation' 1998 Annual Report.

Antonio joined Oroco in 2008 and overseas exploration work at the Cerro Prieto project.

He is a Graduate of The University of San Luis Potosí.

Miguel Torres Herrera, Ing.
After graduating from from Zacatecas University in 2004, where he studied geology, Miguel worked with Goldcorp subsidiary Luismin in the San Martin gold mine. In this position was responsible for the ore control grades, surface exploration and managing diamond drill programs. Miguel began working with Oroco as a project geologist on the CerroPrieto project In May of 2008.

Miguel is a member of good standing with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Mexico (AIMMGM).
